I checked with shopify support re the meta tag incase they could see the issue and they couldn’t fix it
“The meta tag not pulling properly on Facebook also tends to be a theme-related issue. It would seem that Facebook isn’t able to pull the necessary data from the location it expects to find it and that’s what’s causing the problem. It’s worth presenting to the theme devs as well to see if they have any ideas on how to get it in a spot that Facebook can pull from.”
